LET ME TELL YOU OUR LOVE STORY (6)...
(This very day, YOU let ME enter your life)

This happened last September 2005. This time, I didn't have to spy on you through your mail box slots. YOU opened ME your door. Or more exactly YOU let ME see through your eyes.
This is the letter I wrote YOU and left in all the mail boxes of the building :
"Hi!
Did you know that you are lucky to live in one of the 26 flats of this building that can enjoy the sunrise in the morning?
But have you ever asked yourself what it is like to live in the West part, where the sun sets? Would you like to enjoy it as well?
Let the other 26 flats know what the sunrise looks like and in exchange, they will show you the sunset.
For all the residents of this lovely building and as part of a school project, I, Laëtitia CORDIER, graphic design student in Central St Martins, living in flat 40, decided to bring some entertainment to 50 Roman road. It would be great if you could take part, but THERE IS NO OBLIGATION !
I gave the same disposable camera to the first flat of the ground floor, in each part of the building (sunset & sunrise) hopping that the 2 cameras will reach the top floor winthin few days...or few weeks!
The game is to take one photograph (just one! since here is only 24 exposures... maybe two, only if you think you did something wrong) of the view through your window in the morning. Don’t worry about the quality: I don’t expect any professional pictures... just your own view.
Then, write down the number of your exposure on the sheet of paper, in the appropriated space next to your flat number.
Finally, give the camera and the sheet of paper to your nearest neightboor, living on the same side as you (if you know that nobody leaves there, then give it to the next neighbour again).
The person who takes the last picture should then leave everything in my mail box.
Once again: THERE IS NO OBLIGATION ! I want you to enjoy the project, not to feel forced into anything!
Wether you decide to play the game or not, in order to make the chaine work, I would just ask you not to keep the camera for yourself... It costs only £2 pounds in Tesco, so it really isn’t worth it, compared to the lovely exhibition that everybody will be able to enjoy at the end of this project on the entrance hall board. Date to be announced.
If any questions or problems: I live in flat 40 (10th floor)....the sunrise part...
I would be very happy to hear any of your comments.
Good luck for each team...and most of all, ENJOY!
I’m really looking forward to seeing the result !!!!!"
